Welcome to Zen’s Low-Cost Locks (LCL) — our version of a last-minute fare deal,  designed to offer affordable hair services while helping us fill gaps in our appointment schedule.

Think of LCL like a standby seat on a flight or a last-minute hotel deal — you get a great service at a reduced price, but with a little flexibility on your end.

- You don’t choose your stylist — we assign one of our fully qualified team members based on availability.

- You get a great deal — because we’re filling open slots in our schedule.

- We stay flexible — so we can move appointments around if needed.

LCL helps us:

- Fill last-minute gaps in our stylists’ schedules

- Offer affordable services to our community

- Keep our team productive and our salon buzzing

2. We assign a stylist from our qualified team — no requests.

3. Your appointment may shift slightly if needed — but we’ll always keep you informed.

Let’s say Judy books an LCL haircut for next Wednesday at 9:30 AM. At the time of booking, she’s assigned to Kristie, one of our senior stylists.
 

Fast forward to Wednesday — one of Kristie's regular clients walks in at 9:00am needing a cut. Kristie is fully booked… except for two LCL appointments.
 

Because LCL is flexible, we can move Judy’s appointment to another available stylist — say, Jack — and fit in Kristie's regular client at the 9:30am time slot.
 

Everyone wins:
- Judy still gets her haircut at 9:30 AM
- Kristie's regular client is happy
- Our schedule runs smoothly

- No Stylist Requests — LCL bookings are assigned randomly.

- If you want to choose a stylist, please book a standard appointment at regular pricing.

- LCL is subject to availability and cannot be booked in advance of more than 7 days.

- LCL services have allocated product mixtures based on the standard services so if your hair requires more professional product, additional charges will apply.

- Appointments may be moved between stylists to accommodate demand.
