Zen Hair — Terms & Conditions
1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern all appointments, services, purchases, and interactions with Zen Hair. By booking an appointment, visiting our salon, or using our online platforms, you agree to these terms.
2. Appointments & Bookings
- Appointments can be made online, by phone, or in person.
- To secure an online booking, a 50% deposit or valid credit card may be required.
- Appointment times are approximate; service duration may vary depending on your hair type, condition, and chosen service.
- Zen Hair reserves the right to decline or reschedule appointments when necessary.
3. Booking Deposits
- A 50% deposit is required for all online bookings.
- Deposits are credited toward your final appointment total.
- Deposits are subject to our cancellation, rescheduling, and no‑show policies.
- Deposits are non‑transferable between appointments.
4. Credit Card Storage
- When booking online or storing a card for future appointments, you may be required to provide credit card details.
- Zen Hair does not store or have access to your full card information.
- All card data is securely stored and encrypted by Phorest and its PCI‑DSS compliant payment processor.
- Phorest provides Zen Hair with a secure token that allows authorised charges such as deposits or cancellation fees.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No‑Shows
To respect our stylists’ time and other clients:
- Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- Late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee charged to your stored card or deposit.
- No‑shows will be charged up to 100% of the booked service value.
- Repeated no‑shows or late cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

6. Late Arrivals
- If you arrive late, we may need to shorten or adjust your service to avoid impacting other clients.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and a late fee may apply.
7. Service Satisfaction
We aim for every client to leave feeling confident and happy.
- If you are unsatisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days.
- We offer adjustments where appropriate, but do not provide refunds for change‑of‑mind or unrealistic expectations.
- Colour corrections or major changes may require multiple appointments and additional costs.
8. Allergies, Sensitivities & Patch Testing
- Clients are responsible for informing us of any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities.
- Patch tests are recommended for new colour clients or those with known sensitivities.
- Zen Hair is not liable for reactions where information was not disclosed.
9. Pricing & Payments
- All prices are subject to change without notice.
- Final pricing may vary depending on hair length, thickness, time required, and product usage.
- Payment is required at the completion of your service unless otherwise arranged.
10. Retail Products
- Retail purchases are final.
- We do not offer refunds for change‑of‑mind.
- Faulty products may be exchanged in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
11. Personal Belongings
- Zen Hair is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought into the salon.
12. Photos & Social Media
- We will never post photos of you without your verbal or written consent.
- You may withdraw consent at anytime and we will remove the content promptly.
13. Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are non‑refundable and non‑redeemable for cash.
- Vouchers must be presented at the time of service.
- Expiry dates are final unless required otherwise by Australian Consumer Law.
14. Changes to These Terms
Zen Hair may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on our website.
